Alex Davila Jr. is the Business Development Manager at AZ Field Services. He was born in Seminole, Tx and raised in Seagraves, Tx. He graduated in 1997 from Seagraves High School and attended Angelo State University. Alex worked in the oil field as a summer swamper hand for an acidizing company in Denver City, Tx while attending school, which then led to him moving to Midland, Tx to start a career in the Oil Field. Alex has over 25 years of experience ranging from drilling to production.

He started out in well stimulation services which then led to working as a Drilling Fluids Engineer for 18+ years as well as tubing and chemical/testing sales. During this time, Alex honed his skills in client relations, project management, and technical expertise, making him a versatile asset in the oil and gas industry. His ability to adapt to the ever-evolving market demands and his keen understanding of the intricacies involved in drilling operations have earned him a reputation for excellence and reliability.

Alex has been with AZ Field Services since 2024 and has quickly helped develop the sales side and introduce a wide variety of services to operators in the Permian and Delaware Basins to help diversify the company.

Alex has been married to his wife Nancy for 17 years and they have four kids: Alan, Alexi, Diego and the only girl Alexis, along with a grandson Brandon Davila. On his spare time, he likes to hunt, fish, golf, and most of all, watch his daughter play soccer for her club and school. Taking vacations with the family is also a high priority for him because “cherishing family memories is what nobody can ever take away.”
